Always Learning, Always Caring

Dr. Kendra grew up in Sedalia, CO, and has always had a love for animals.

She grew up with dogs and participated in canine 4-H, and also took horseback riding and husbandry classes starting at a young age. Knowing that she wanted to help animals, she thought about going to veterinary school, but did not want to have to put sick animals down. So instead, pursued a career in animal chiropractic.

She received her undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science from University of Northern Colorado, then went on to receive her Doctorate in Chiropractic at Life Chiropractic College West. In the summer of 2016, she received her certification in animal chiropractic through Options for Animals, College of Animal Chiropractic and the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association. She is licensed in the state of Colorado as a human and animal chiropractor. Dr. Kendra believes it is important to be a continual student and attends continuing education seminars that focus on animal chiropractic adjusting techniques, animal biomechanics and neurology.

Mission

Animals do their best to try to tell us what they need.

However, since they cannot verbalize their feelings, thoughts, or physical symptoms, they try to tell us in other ways. I believe that if we listen and watch closely to our beloved animals, they tell us more than we think. I have seen a lot of bad outcomes when it comes to purchasing or adopting different animals. Oftentimes, behavioral issues are the result of chronic pain (physical or emotional). If I can help an animal feel better physically, it becomes easier to sort out what behavior is a result of emotional trauma, and what is a biomechanical issue.

I want to help animals live their fullest life, free of pain and discomfort, to be able to perform and behave their best. I believe that chiropractic care is the key to this process. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved pets!
